important things to note:other important things that are verse wide, regardless of the timeline: serena is always force sensitive, and has an extreme pull to the light. she is one half of a DYAD with sierra, and they are still exploring this bond & what it means to them - it becomes even stronger and intertwined after sierra resurrects her.

THE PLANET OF SOLELLE was a private planet up until the year 41 bby, when the current draevhal, julian carlisle, decided to break solelle's tradition of being a solitary planet and join the republic. this was not officialized until 36 bby, five years later.the citizens were against the change, but came to accept the terms julian made with the current chancellor. he was a loved ruler, but even more beloved were his children, the aethir augustine and aetherine serena, and in their name the sentients of solelle agreed to open their planet to the republic.it was a slow process, and solelle was not fully open to visitors / tourists until another five years later, in 31 bby - the day is considered a holiday.

THE AETHERINE, SERENA was born in 41 bby, and is known to be the main cause for solelle joining the galactic republic. she is, and was, the most beloved royal in the many thousands of years of history in solelle.when she was sixteen years old, ❪ 25 bby ❫ she was on an outing to coruscant with her father, when he was shot and murdered in the streets in front of her. she held him as he died, then was sent back to solelle with his body. a few months later, her brother august is coronated as the genidraevhal, with serena coronated as his heir.during this time, their mother and julian's wife eirene retreated into her solar, slowly descending into weakness and illness until she could barely recognize her own children.

SOMETIME IN THE YEAR 22 bby, eirene committed suicide by throwing herself from her tower. her body was placed in the tomb with julian's, while their family crystals were passed down to august and serena.in all verses, serena is force sensitive. this is enhanced by the crystal she wears, which is a form of a kyber crystal. solelle is a force hotspot, and was considered a great asset to both the jedi and the chancellor when julian decided to join the republic.eirene told serena to suppress her connection with the force, but she continued to practice in secret; so her connection never faded despite not training as a jedi officially. serena is stronger than most untrained force sensitives.
